Mark Freeburg, Pharm. D.

Mark is a 2008 South Dakota State University graduate from Garvin, Minn. He chose a pharmacy career because of family ties to the healthcare field and his interest in math and chemistry.

After joining GuidePoint Pharmacy in 2009, Mark soon realized it’s the patient interaction — counseling and medication management — that he finds most rewarding.

Jason Turner, R. PH.

Jason has been a pharmacist proudly serving Worthington, Minn., and its surrounding communities since 1994. Originally from Storden, Minn., Jason received his Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota.

He specializes in diabetes, compounding specialized medications to help meet the needs of Hospice patients and correcting hormone imbalances primarily in women.

Jason is part owner of Worthington’s GuidePoint Pharmacy and serves on numerous Boards of Directors for organizations throughout the community.

Mike Ahlers, Pharm. D.

Mike, originally from Fulda, Minn., received his Pharmacy degree from South Dakota State University. Throughout pharmacy school he interned at GuidePoint, becoming a full-time pharmacist there following his graduation.

Mike’s pharmacy interests include immunizations, Medication Therapy Management and especially compliance packaging, because it provides an understandable way for patients to take their medications, allowing them to maintain their independence.

When he’s not at work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also collects and restores vintage tractors, farm machinery and advertising signs.
